Console Branding

White Label#

White Label rebrands the Gydr Console dashboard with your company's logo and primary color. Every team member of your account sees your identity instead of Gydr's — sign-in screen, top bar, and accent colors.

White Label is account-scoped and applies to every team member of the account that enables it. It is distinct from Widget Theme, which brands the customer-facing chatbot widget. See Widget Theme for the chatbot widget.

What changes#

• TopBar logo — the Gydr wordmark in the Console top bar is replaced by your logo.
• AuthLayout logo — the sign-in, sign-up, and password reset screens carry your logo.
• Primary color — buttons, links, status accents, and key UI cues across the Console use your primary brand color.
• Custom domain access controls (when a custom Console domain is configured) — self-registration is disabled on that hostname and active sessions are confined to your account. Team members from other accounts are signed out automatically; the account switcher is restricted to your account only.

What does not change#

• The chatbot widget appearance on your customers' sites — the look and feel of the embedded widget is controlled by Widget Theme, not White Label. Note: the hosted chatbox URL (chatbox.gydr.ai) can be replaced by your own domain via Custom Domains — see below.
• The marketing site at gydr.ai — White Label only affects the Console dashboard.
• Email notifications and system templates remain Gydr-branded in this first iteration.

Enabling White Label#

The account owner can enable White Label from Settings → White Label in the Console. Upload your Console logo, sign-in page logo, and primary color hex code, then save. Changes apply for every team member of your account on their next page load.

Custom Domains#

White Label on the Growth plan and above also includes Custom Domains — replacing console.gydr.ai and chatbox.gydr.ai entirely with your own hostnames. The replacement is arbitrary: admin.acme.com for the Console and bot.acme.com for the hosted chatbox are equally valid — no shared parent domain or fixed subdomain prefix is required.

Gydr's first-party domains continue to serve without interruption. Your custom domain is additive — both serve the same app simultaneously, so existing bookmarks, invite links, and embeds keep working.

Onboarding steps

1. Prove domain ownership — add a DNS TXT record at _gydr-verify.<your-domain> containing the verification token shown in Settings → White Label → Custom domains. No CloudFront tenant is created until this step resolves — this is a security control, not a convenience step.
2. Add a CNAME — once ownership is verified, point your subdomain to the connection-group endpoint shown in the Console. CloudFront validates the record and issues a TLS certificate automatically. No certificate management is required on your side.
