An AI shopping assistant for your WooCommerce store

Shoppers ask in their own words. Gydr searches your catalogue, shows products with prices and stock, links straight to each product page and answers “Where is my order?” for you.

What shoppers can ask

Your catalogue, answering for itself.

Want the strongest answers in every language?

Store search matches the words in your catalogue. Import your products into a Product Knowledge Base and the assistant matches what shoppers mean, in any language.

About the Knowledge Base
  • “Do you have…?”

Searches your catalogue and shows matching products with photo, price and a link to the product page.

  • Browse by category

Lists your categories and what is in each, so shoppers can explore without leaving the chat.

  • In stock or sold out

Says whether a product is available, straight from your store. It never guesses a quantity.

  • “Where is my order?”

Reads an order's status, items and tracking, only for the shopper who placed it.

  • Buying stays on your store

There is no cart in the chat. Each product links to its page, so payments, stock and orders stay in WooCommerce.

Order answers

Order questions, answered privately.

Shoppers who are signed in to your store get their own orders straight away, and your team gets fewer emails.

Where is my order?

Please sign in to your account first, then ask me again and I'll look up your order.

Anyone who is not signed in is asked to sign in first. There is no order number or email form.

  • Never another shopper's order
  • Never an address, phone number or email
  • Never an order for a shopper who is not signed in
  • Tracking from WooCommerce Shipment Tracking, Advanced Shipment Tracking or WooCommerce fulfilments

Setup

Connected in minutes.

  1. 1

    Enter your store address

Product search reads your store's public storefront, so there is no key to create.

  2. 2

    Choose what it may do

Turn on product search, categories and, if you like, order answers. Each one is tested before you finish.

  3. 3

Add the WordPress plugin for orders

Order answers use the shopper's own sign-in, which the Gydr WordPress plugin provides. Install it on your store and nothing else is needed.

Order answers need the Gydr WordPress plugin, version 1.4 or later. Without it the assistant still searches products and says orders can't be looked up.

Read-only by design

It can read your store. It can't change it.

Can't touch an order
The assistant can read an order's status and can never edit, cancel or refund it.
Never edits your store
The assistant only reads. It never changes a product, price, stock level or setting in WooCommerce.
No store key to keep
Orders are read through the shopper's own sign-in, so Gydr holds no key to your store's orders.
Shows what your store shows
Products, prices and stock come straight from your catalogue, so the chat never falls out of step with your shop.

Recognise signed-in shoppers

Install the Gydr WordPress plugin and shoppers who are logged in get their own orders. Shoppers who aren't are asked to sign in first.

Questions, answered

WooCommerce Storefront is a plugin, available on the Starter plan and above. You can start on the free plan and upgrade when you connect your store.

No. Product search reads your store's public storefront, and order answers use the shopper's own sign-in through the Gydr WordPress plugin. There is nothing to copy or paste.

No. Each product links to its page on your store, where shoppers add to cart and pay as usual.

WooCommerce Shipment Tracking, Advanced Shipment Tracking (AST) and WooCommerce's built-in order fulfilments.

Product search does. Order lookup does not: a messaging app never knows who is signed in to your website, so the assistant doesn't look up orders there.

Suggestions show in-stock products by default, and you can change that in the search settings. When a shopper asks about a product that has sold out, the assistant says so rather than pretending it doesn't exist.
